Meet the Photographer
My name is Paul A Thompson – by necessity, I have had to include my middle initial because quite frankly there are a lot of Paul Thompsons in the world of photography!

I am the proud father of four beautiful young children and a couple of cameras which I jokingly refer to as “my babies”. I am passionate about my family and my photography, and anyone that knows me can attest to my love of good food and the occasional glass of red.
​
My photos have been exhibited all over the world – in more than 50 different countries, at last count, and I am the recipient of more than 100 awards in National and International exhibitions/competitions.
​
I have received my Photographic Honours from the Australian Photographic Society – FAPS (Fellow) and the prestigious International Federation of Photographic Art – EFIAP/s (Excellence-Silver). This year, I had the honour of being a judge at the Australian Digital Photography Awards 2020.

I have now opened up my own Boutique Photography Studio in the Perth CBD - West Perth Photography Studio.
